Prop firm risk management built around how evaluations actually end.

FillEdge is the TradingView-to-MetaTrader bridge that carries your firm's rulebook, tracks every limit live, and stops the trade that would breach it before your broker fills it. The strategy you passed the backtest with is the one that runs your evaluation.

Where prop evaluations actually die

A funded account fails in two ways. The market, and the automation between you and it.

Some of these have nothing to do with software. Others only exist because the bridge between TradingView and your broker got something wrong. Either way, the account is just as gone.

The protection

Six layers that keep a clean strategy from failing on a broken automation.

An evaluation rarely ends because the strategy was wrong. It ends because one trade slipped through that shouldn't have. These six act on the trade itself, each catching what the others can't see.

Prop firm guardrails

Most evaluations don't die from a bad strategy.

One trade past a daily limit, one quiet bar that nudges drawdown below the floor, and the account is gone. FillEdge carries the rulebook for every major firm and stops the trade that would breach yours at the bridge, before your broker ever sees it.

Signal multiplier

Run every prop account at once, each inside its own rules.

You're rarely on one account. FillEdge takes a single strategy and routes it to all of them at the size each one allows: full size on the $100K, trimmed on the one near its daily limit, doubled on the funded account with room to spare. You set the routing once. If one account hits a guardrail, the rest keep trading, and every copy is reconciled and logged on its own.

Reconciliation

Why the same strategy performs differently on every firm.

When the backtest and your funded accounts disagree, the answer lives in the distance between what you signalled and what actually filled. FillEdge measures that distance on every trade: entry, size, stop, target, compared to the order your strategy sent. Drift, slippage, a fill that never happened, each gets flagged and tagged as it occurs, so you can point to the account that's leaking and the reason instead of staring at an equity curve a month later.

  • ✓ MATCHED intent and fill agree
  • 🎯 LOCKED stop landed at the calculated price
  • 👻 CAUGHT a phantom signal was intercepted
  • 🛡️ BLOCKED a duplicate execution was prevented
  • 🔀 REORDERED out-of-order reversal, resequenced
  • 💀 EXPIRED a stale signal was discarded, not fired late
Ghost interception

A position you never authorized can end the run.

Duplicate webhooks, a bar that re-evaluates and fires twice, an alert that arrives after the position already closed: each opens a trade your logic never intended. On a funded account one stray position like that can breach the daily drawdown while the strategy you're being judged on stayed perfectly clean. FillEdge checks each arriving signal against what your strategy is actually holding right now, and refuses the ones that don't belong before the broker ever sees them.

It catches the trade you weren't sitting at the terminal to catch.

SL / TP interpretation

A slipped entry shouldn't move your stop off its level.

Your script set the stop just under support. The entry slips a few pips, and a distance-based bridge drags the stop along with it, so it no longer guards the level you drew. FillEdge lets each strategy say whether its stop is a fixed price or a distance from entry, then places it that way. The level you meant stays the level you get, even when the fill slips.

Honours strategy-set price levels

When your script sets the stop at a price, FillEdge places it there, not relative to where the fill landed. Support and resistance stay support and resistance, even when the entry slips a few pips.

Reads distances in the right units

sl=15 means 15 pips on EURUSD and 15 index points on NAS100. FillEdge pins the right interpretation per strategy at ingest, so the same number lands as the right distance on every asset class.

Reversal sequencing

When you flip, the close lands before the open.

When your strategy flips from long to short, it fires a close and an open at the same instant, and they travel as two separate requests. If the open arrives first, a naive bridge acts on it and you end up holding the very position you meant to exit, often overnight, eating into a limit while you sleep. FillEdge orders the pair so the close settles before the open begins. If only one half ever arrives, it waits rather than firing a lone leg.

  • 🔀 REORDERED the close was delivered before the open
  • 💀 EXPIRED an orphaned half was held back, not fired late
The visibility

Protection you can watch, and prove.

The six layers act on your trades. These two don't touch them. They tell you the moment something breaks, and they keep the record that settles any question about what the platform did.

Always-on monitoring

You'll know the moment the pipeline goes quiet.

FillEdge pushes synthetic probes through the full round trip on a schedule. When the loop closes, the pipeline reads healthy: 🐤 CHIRP. When it breaks, 🔇 SILENCE names the leg that failed. A downed EA, a strategy gone silent, slippage past your line, a drawdown floor getting close. Each reaches your email and Telegram in seconds, so a dead automation never costs you a whole trading day you find out about next morning.

Trade journal & analytics

A timestamped record of every signal, fill, and rule call.

Every signal, fill, and rule decision is written down the instant it happens, with slippage, latency, and the reason behind each call already attached. Nothing to export, nothing to maintain by hand. Filter it by strategy, account, symbol, or date when a number looks off. And when a prop desk questions whether the platform really placed a trade, the timestamped record is the answer you hand back.

What it adds up to

Most bridges solve the easy 80%. The other 20% is what ends evaluations.

The trader who keeps a funded account isn't the one whose strategy never throws a bad signal. It's the one whose bridge made sure the bad signal couldn't end the run. That is the whole job of prop firm risk management, and it's the job FillEdge was built for.

FAQ

What is prop firm risk management software, and how is it different from a normal trading bridge?

A normal bridge has one job: get your TradingView signal to your broker. Prop firm risk management software does that and then guards the trade against your firm's rules. FillEdge knows the daily loss limit, drawdown floor, and consistency rules on each account you bind, and it stops or resizes a trade that would breach them before the broker fills it. A plain bridge will happily execute the trade that ends your evaluation. This won't.

Can using a tool to manage risk get me banned or disqualified by my prop firm?

No. FillEdge runs your own strategy on your own account: it's an execution tool, like any Expert Advisor or webhook, not a copy-trading service or a third-party signal. It also works on the side of the rules, keeping you inside your firm's limits rather than around them. Firms forbid things like copy-trading between accounts or trading someone else's signals, and FillEdge does none of that. Rules do vary between firms, so check your specific firm's terms, but the tool itself is not a violation.

Can it manage several prop accounts with different rules at the same time?

Yes, and that's a core reason prop traders use it. Bind each account once with its firm, size, and phase, and FillEdge applies the right rulebook to each one independently. A single strategy routes to all of them at the size each allows, and a guardrail tripping on one account doesn't stop the others from trading. You stop tracking limits by hand across tabs.

Does it automatically resize my positions to fit my remaining risk budget?

Yes. When an incoming signal would push an account past a limit, FillEdge can trim the lot to fit what's left of your daily or drawdown budget instead of blocking the trade outright. You choose per account whether a breaching signal gets reduced to fit or held back entirely. Either way the rule stays intact.

Do I actually need prop firm risk management, or will a basic bridge do the job?

A basic bridge handles the easy part, getting the signal across, and most of the time that's all you'll notice. The trouble is the handful of times a year it isn't: a phantom fill, a slipped stop, a silent outage, a limit you forgot to track. Any one of those ends a funded account a plain bridge would have executed straight into. The risk management is what stands between a bad signal and a failed evaluation.
